Easy Care

Machine wash, cold. Line dry. Place in warm dryer 2-3 minutes to soften, and remove wrinkles. That's all there is to it. All fabric is prewashed so you don't have to worry.

Silk Noil

This silk noil, also known as raw silk, is soft, slubby, and slightly fuzzy. I love to wear it because I feel like I'm in my pajamas, but look dressed up. Plum, Dusk, Vintage Green, Avocado, and Lacquer are colors that I hand dye in small batches, and assemble into patchwork yardage. The hand dyed silk colors have quite a bit of color variation that is not visible in these small cyber-swatches. Dye lots also vary somewhat within each garment, adding to the individuality of each piece. The dye process shrinks, and softens the silk, so you won't have any laundry surprises.
Black, and Natural are commercial colors. In other words, I buy the yardage in those colors, and wash the whole roll to soften, and shrink it before I make the clothes. Even though they are commercially manufactured colors, Black, and Natural still have some color variation from one batch to the next. When ordering Black or Natural, you may decide whether or not you want it to be patchwork.
*Silk does not come in Silver.

Matching Outfits

Dye lots can vary. I suggest you order all the peices of an outfit at the same time. This will insure that pieces you intend to wear together are all made from the same yardage.
