Easy Care

Machine wash, cold. Tumble dry, low. That's all there is to it. All fabric is prewashed so you don't have to worry.

Laundered Linen

Pictured above are the colors of linen that I use make Carpool clothes. Plum, Dusk, Vintage Green, Avocado, Lacquer, and Silver are all colors that I hand dye in small batches, and piece together into patchwork yardage. Dye lots, and thickness of fabric vary somewhat within each garment, adding to the individuality of each piece. The dye process shrinks, and softens the linen, so you won't have any laundry surprises.
Black, and Natural are commercial colors. In other words, I buy the yardage in those colors, and wash the whole roll to soften, and shrink it before I make the clothes. Even though they are commercially manufactured colors, Black, and Natural still have some variation in color from one batch to the next. When ordering Black or Natural, you may decide whether or not you want it to be patchwork.

Matching Outfits

Dye lots can vary. I suggest you order all the peices of an outfit at the same time. This will insure that pieces you intend to wear together are all made from the same yardage.
